Mark R. Fenlaw, FSA
Mr. Fenlaw became a consulting actuary in 1973 when he joined Rudd and Wisdom. He became a Principal of the firm in 1980.

Mr. Fenlaw is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
Expertise:
Mr. Fenlaw’s primary area of expertise is in design, funding and administration of defined benefit pension plans for public employees. This expertise includes performance of actuarial valuations, review and development of actuarial assumptions and experience studies, determination of the impact and cost of benefit increases and other plan amendments, and drafting plan amendments. He also has expertise in disclosure statements for public pension plans in the financial statements of the plans and the employers. His experience also includes performing actuarial valuations of postretirement medical benefit plans for governmental entities.
Education:
Mr. Fenlaw is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration degree in Actuarial Science.
