David G. Wilkes, FSA
Mr. Wilkes began his actuarial career in 1983 and has been with Rudd and Wisdom since 1991. He became a Principal of the firm in 1995.

Mr. Wilkes is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (1988) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (1987).
Expertise:
Mr. Wilkes is the consulting actuary for several of the largest health care programs in Texas. His primary area of expertise is in the design and financing of health and welfare plans. He also has extensive experience in request for proposal (RFP) design and proposal evaluation, evaluation and selection of insurance, reinsurance and managed care arrangements, data management and statistical reporting, determination of self-funded plan contribution rates and liability estimates, life, disability and dental insurance pricing, actuarial cost projections/statistical modeling, carrier negotiation, evaluation of provider networks and postretirement benefit liability determinations.
Education:
Mr. Wilkes is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (1982).
